Battling Food Insecurity

The East Troy Family and Community Resource Center in parternship with the East Troy Community School District acknowledges the impact that inflation and removal of support benefits is having on East Troy community members. In a small effort to combat hunger for our community we will be creating Community Battle Bags that will provide shelf stable items for several meals as well as snacks. This is a pilot program to try and meet the current needs of our community. Community members facing food insecurity (single individuals, couples, seniors, families) who reside in the East Troy community can apply from now through November 9th and we will have pick up dates available later that same week. Proof or residency will be required.
